Althought the content of the book was thorough and varied (although maybe not as quirky as I had hoped), the imagery (which is what I purchased it for) was disappointing. Most of the shots were very yellow in tone & the reproduction quality was poor. i ended up returning it.

I was really looking forward to this book coming out and it didn’t disappoint!! This fantastic book, written by the very talented Pia Jane Bijerk (who also took all the lovely photos throughout the book), is a refreshing and endearing way of looking at Paris. More than just a shopping guide, Pia’s ‘wanders’ allow the reader to explore and experience the city in a completely new way. It doesn’t even matter if you are going to Paris or not. It stands up on its own. I love Pia’s eye for the unique and beautiful shops and objects featured in the book.

Beautiful, inspiring book full of charm character and curiosities. Well documented with precise locations, times of openings and amazing photography – my only initial surprise was that it was so small however in thinking about it it would fit neatly in your handbag while searching for these gems. Wonderful!
